"Mexico Update January 2008"
La Bufa Project (Copper-Gold-Silver), Chihuahua, Mexico
The La Bufa Project consists of a 250 square kilometre land package adjoining the historic Batopilas mining camp. It hosts the former producing Carmen copper-gold-silver deposit (historic reported production approximately 1 mT @ 2.50% Cu, 2.90 g/t gold, 2.80 g/t silver) and several other copper-gold-silver vein systems.
Target: Copper-gold-silver vein/breccia deposits; porphyry copper deposits
Highlights: Historic Carmen high-grade copper-gold deposit; new vein discovery which returned 7.20% copper, 1,470 g/t silver (NR07-32, October 17, 2007)
Activity: Mapping and sampling of new discoveries and historic Carmen Mine commencing in 2008
Pending Results: Stream sediment samples and surface sampling results pending
Ownership: 50% West Timmins Mining; 50% interest optioned to Trelawney Resources Inc. (TSX.V: TRR)

Follow up sampling conducted across the newly discovered East Vein, on the La Bufa Project in Chihuahua, Mexico, has confirmed the high-grade nature of this new discovery returning 2,710 g/t silver and 4.90% copper from a 30 cm channel sample cut across the core of the vein. The initial grab sample collected from the East Vein returned 1,470 g/t silver and 7.20% copper (see NR07-32, Oct. 17, 2007). Several additional veins and related breccia zones identified in close proximity to the East Vein returned anomalous copper, silver and gold values. Historically recorded production from the nearby Carmen Mine, located on the La Bufa Project, was approximately 1,000,000 tons averaging 2.5% copper, 2.9 g/t gold and 2.8 g/t silver. Production at Carmen was from a series of sub-parallel high-grade veins, ranging in width from tens of centimetres to over 6.0 metres, and intervening breccia zones. The alteration pattern surrounding the Carmen Mine is similar to that observed in the East Vein area and surrounding two additional vein/breccia zones, located north-east of Carmen. These two new discoveries returned 1.73% and 1.49% copper from 30 and 60 cm channel samples collected during the current program.
Rehabilitation of the main road access to the Carmen Mine has been completed. Additional sampling of several mineralized zones within the Project area and around the Carmen Mine is on-going with a goal of identifying a number of targets for Phase 1 drill testing later in 2008.
